GO! Welcome SLIFE™ was created for English learner tweens who could be migrant students, refugees, or students who for other reasons have had limited or interrupted formal education. While the reasons for their limited or interrupted learning may differ, their educational needs are similar. Each emergent-level book pair features a nonfiction book addressing a key topic along with a fictional story that features a real-life application of that topic. A comprehensive instructional support guide and vocabulary card set are also included for deeper learning. Special focus is given to 200 content-related vocabulary words to support vocabulary acquisition for striving readers.
